2025 - Dorset
Band trip to Dorset - 13th-15th June 2025. Staying in Swanage, the band performed two concerts, one at the Swanage Bandstand on Saturday afternoon and a second at Christchurch Bandstand on the way home on Sunday. The weather was stunning, with only a few issues of blustery wind whilst playing. 'Chairgate' was averted by members bringing foldable chairs at the last minute. The first evening was a meal in the Black Swan and the second evening was a fish and chip supper followed by a quiz in the Loft Community Hall. All fantastically organised by a great sub-committee. 2004 - 20th Anniversary
20th Anniversary Celebrations - 29th August 2004 More than 40 people attended the Band's 20th Anniversary Celebration. Unfortunately the weather was not as kind as it could have been and much of the time was spent under the marquee! A few former members came along and reminisced along with current members. The archives from the last twenty years were on display and there were many comments such as, "I remember that!" and "Was it really that long ago!". A presentation was made to Alan as the longest-serving member, having played in the band since its formation. After an excellent barbeque meal, several members took part in a "busking" session. A good time was had by all. Here's to the next twenty years . . .
